A palmetto mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, is going for $4 million.
The Palm Beach Post reported the home was sold on March 20, 2018 for $2.5 million.
The owner of the home, Robert G. Martin, is a well-known New York real estate developer who previously bought the Palmetto House in Palm Springs, California, which was on the market for $1.6 million.
Martin was reportedly not interested in the mansion in the Palm Springs area.
According to the sale documents, the Palm House on the 3200 block of St. George Road was originally built in 1925 by Guggenheim and was home to several wealthy friends.
The mansion had a beautiful Victorian style, and the home’s windows were opened up to let the sun in.
The owners listed it as a vacation home in 2009 and purchased it in 2013 for $7.8 million.
It was then re-listed in 2014 for $5.9 million, which is how much the property now fetches.
