According to the Real Estate Board of Greater Seattle, home values in the Seattle metro area have more than tripled since 2006, and are now hovering at more than $1 million.
The average price in the region for the last five years has also skyrocketed, rising from $2,900 in 2007 to $3,700 in 2016.
